Lisa Zhao is an author-illustrator based in New York City, originally from China. She attended the School of Visual Arts for a BFA in Illustration.
Lisa dedicates herself to storytelling through picture book illustration, comics, and animation. She primarily works with gouache and watercolor on paper, though sometimes uses digital mediums as well. Lisa also enjoys collecting beautiful tableware and tiny mouse toys.
